Who We Are

What began as a mother-and-daughter wedding project quickly became something much bigger.

In 2020, while planning Maghen's wedding, we dreamed of creating a venue that felt warm, romantic, and unforgettable. We wanted guests to walk into the room and immediately feel the atmosphere, not just see it. Inspired by that vision, we began designing floral chandeliers in a one-car garage, experimenting with different styles, materials, and designs until we created something that transformed the space in a way we had never imagined.

The moment we saw guests look up and experience the room differently, we knew we had discovered something special.

Today, Hanging Garden Design specializes in luxury floral chandeliers and overhead installations for weddings and events throughout Upstate South Carolina and beyond. Our designs bring height, movement, and visual impact to celebrations, creating unforgettable focal points above dance floors, ceremony aisles, cocktail hours, and reception spaces.

What makes us different is our belief that beautiful design should be both memorable and accessible. Our reusable floral installations offer couples, planners, and venues a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to large-scale fresh floral installations while delivering the same sense of wonder and elegance.

We are honored to work alongside couples, planners, florists, and venues to create events that feel intentional, elevated, and unforgettable.

Our Mission

We believe the most memorable spaces are the ones that make people stop, look up, and feel something. Through thoughtfully designed floral chandeliers and overhead installations, our mission is to transform ordinary venues into extraordinary experiences while helping couples create celebrations that are as unique as their story.

Why We Design Above the Crowd

Traditional event design often focuses on what guests see at eye level. We believe some of the most impactful design happens above it.
